He shrugged as he heard her speak, her tone of voice clearly indicating that apparently his last word had not pleased her much. What could he say about that? he didn't want to ruin whatever it was that they had built, but he couldn't just hide who he really was for all eternity just so they could have a happy and healthy life together, he couldn't do that. Besides, why did it bother her so much? he was Hades' son, not her son, and by the way Hades had told her nothing about him, it was quite obvious that he didn't intend to introduce them in the future either... uh, he wouldn't want to know how he would react when he found out that they already knew each other.
'Oh, I can see him in you,' the boy arched both eyebrows at that, perhaps waiting a little more context, though he ended up getting none. Something else had been expected, perhaps an explanation as to why she suddenly saw Hades within him, when only a few minutes ago she had flatly refused to even consider the possibility that her beloved could have children. It wasn't the first time someone told him that, of course, other people, including Gods, had confessed to seeing the Lord of the Underworld in him, in his expressions or habits or whatever little thing he might do, and he hadn't particularly minded hearing it... but coming from her, he didn't know how to feel.
"Not all gods are like that," most of them were, he admitted it. You just had to take a quick look at the always overwhelming Hermes cabin, or perhaps the Apollo cabin. Those two were always overflowing with people. Most Gods found fun or pleasure in playing with other women or men, but not all. "Fidelity?" he repeated, unable to believe what he was hearing. "I thought that Hades was engaged to Persephone, so you're not the only one he supposedly has been unfaithful to," he shrugged his shoulders again, before adding: "Besides, Hades has never been unfaithful to you" when his father had been with his mother, Zelena wasn't even in the picture. She couldn't go around claiming fidelity when it didn't even belong to her.
Now came the topic that interested him, Hades' supposed exile, banishment from which he knew nothing. "The Olympian Crystal? his father? you mean.... Kronos?" but it couldn't have been possible, they had defeated Kronos... although Zelena surely meant an event of the past. Kronos was in Tartarus and wouldn't come out of there, not while they were alive. When he heard the version he was listening to, he couldn't help but... well, feeling that none of it fit, nothing made sense inside his head, none of the words that left her lips formed logical phrases. "What?" was the first thing he said, not understanding. "He... no. Zeus stayed with the sky and air, Poseidon with the waters, and Hades with the world of the dead. Zeus divided the world with his brothers, by drawing lots, he did not banish him" it had no meaning, she... her history did not even agree with the myths.
Frankly, perhaps he would have been worried to know that zelena had broken the Olympian Crystal, if he knew what that was, but he had no idea. "Don't" simple. He wasn't going to talk about his mother to someone who had threatened to kill him a few minutes earlier. And even if he wanted to tell her some curious facts about her, something that would never ever happen, he barely remembered what she looked like, or what was she like.
