In his efforts to stop the people of Storybrooke from defeating him and ending his bid to rule all the realms, the Horned King cast a new curse of his own- one that was meant to split the forces of good and keep them from ever being able to stand together to fight him again! He used his horrible magic to make a new Dark Curse, creating a new city known as Hyperion Heights, a city that has, as far as anyone knows, always been nestled inside Seattle. Not every person inside Storybrooke was hit by this curse, but those who were found themselves instantly transported to the new location through the thick fog that had enveloped Storybrooke. When the dark curtain lifted, many members of the town were suddenly gone, leaving behind many confused and worried people now desperate to find their lost friends and loved ones. Unfortunately, the deadly barrier around Storybrooke remains intact, meaning any attempt to leave the town to look for this new cursed location will result in a dusty death!

For those who were sent to Hyperion Heights, they have all been cursed, given fake lives where they believe they have lived in the city the whole time. They no longer have any memory of the Horned King or Storybrooke, and have no idea of the dangers they have left behind! Not to mention the new dangers of being put in a place where the Horned King can control their every move.
